Up To Par

The past few days have been lovely. 80° (26.6°C) with a cool breeze and hardly a cloud in the sky. While not crowded, the beaches are peppered with sun worshipers and the surfers have been enjoying some massive waves.

I’ve been making my early morning pilgrimages to the beach for quiet meditation and some book work. The restaurants are open for business but take out only. 

Nice days to golf and so we shall. 

No complaints.

    I'd LOVE to see an 80 degree day! we have been in the 30s for 2 weeks now. :(

    Better than what is happening here. Can't get to the city by car, walking or water. It's scary here right now. Enjoy the calm waters and perfect weather. I so wish I could join you!

We pass by the house frequently since it sits on a busy thoroughfare. We know to look every time we pass and guess what will we see. Will it be the two Dalmatians, sitting on the couch that backs up to the giant panel window, waiting for their human to come home?  Vai. E, se der medo, vai con medo mesmo. When one is raised in an angry family, it’s not enough to say I don’t want to be angry. You must learn how to do it differently. That’s no easy task. If judgment and self hatred became a way of life, a new way to live has to be taught. There are many ways to do it. Reading, writing, sharing, practicing all help the change. Counseling, psychoanalysis, religion, meditation, gratitude, have the ability to transform but I needed to see it in action, it needed to be more tangible, visual, accessible.
