Huh?
This is more for my fellow lady bloggers than the guys.
Did you know about restaurants and bars putting ice in urinals?
I, for the first time at 55, just heard that this is fairly common practice. Incredulous, I peppered the person with questions as he acted as if I were a complete numbskull.
This puts a whole new twist on "You learn something new everyday".

really? why do they do that? I didn't know about this either, but then again I don't use a urinal to pee.
ReplyDeleteApparently for "odors and aim".
DeleteNew one to me too, Linda. It’s not like it would come up in conversation often.
ReplyDeleteI never heard of that -- but then, I've not had the investigative experience to verify!
ReplyDeleteSeems to me it would make the splashing worse. A stream of - fluid - is bad enough bouncing off a toilet mint, toss in all the irregular surfaces on a pile if ice cubes - hoo boy!! Better back up!
ReplyDeleteAlso never witnessed the practice except for maybe a guy pouring out a drink in one.
