Huh?

This is more for my fellow lady bloggers than the guys.

Did you know about restaurants and bars putting ice in urinals?

I, for the first time at 55, just heard that this is fairly common practice. Incredulous, I peppered the person with questions as he acted as if I were a complete numbskull.

This puts a whole new twist on "You learn something new everyday".

    really? why do they do that? I didn't know about this either, but then again I don't use a urinal to pee.

    Seems to me it would make the splashing worse. A stream of - fluid - is bad enough bouncing off a toilet mint, toss in all the irregular surfaces on a pile if ice cubes - hoo boy!! Better back up!

    Also never witnessed the practice except for maybe a guy pouring out a drink in one.

We pass by the house frequently since it sits on a busy thoroughfare. We know to look every time we pass and guess what will we see. Will it be the two Dalmatians, sitting on the couch that backs up to the giant panel window, waiting for their human to come home? I would like your input on this letter I am considering sending out. Darryl, I once considered you, if not a friend, a very friendly acquaintance. Our daughters are the same age.  Vai. E, se der medo, vai con medo mesmo. When one is raised in an angry family, it’s not enough to say I don’t want to be angry. You must learn how to do it differently. That’s no easy task. If judgment and self hatred became a way of life, a new way to live has to be taught. There are many ways to do it. Reading, writing, sharing, practicing all help the change.
