The Shits

“It’s snowing again and Elsa decides that even if people she likes have been shits on earlier occasions, she has to learn to carry on liking them. You'd quickly run out of people if you have to disqualify all those who have, at some point, been shits.

I just really like these lines.

Fun little book by the author of A Man Called Ove.

  1. That's a great quote. And it's true. There's always a reason to dislike people if you pay too close attention.

  3. So very true! One has to learn to ignore certain behavior, otherwise one'll quickly "run out of people".
Sometimes, especially in old age when one needs support and understanding, it's hard to put up with "shit" attitudes, and that would eventually lead to social isolation of the older person, which is not a desirable situation at all.
