Rain, Rain Don't Go Away

Nothing to say, bruised and battered (figuratively)

So I will be grateful:
  1. for the desire to change.
  2. for the knowledge that I am not crazy.
  3. for this incredible rain.
  4. for my conscience that tells me right from wrong.
  5. for the hard work I've done to get where I am.
  6. when the knot in my stomach eases.
  7. for remembering I have the ability to take care of myself. 
  8. for my body that encapsulates my soul and keeps me moving
  9. for a silly dog that can make me smile in bad times.
  10. for Mexican Food!!!
  11. the rain again.
  12. loving and wonderful kids.
  13. for Jacuzzis
  14. for a flawed man.
  15. for a good counselor.
  16. for the reminder that "GRATEFUL"  can change the day.
  17. did I mention rain?
So the knot is smaller, more manageable. Have yourself a great day.

      I am not currently a cat owner and the one cat I would like to have just left this world a little bit sadder for his leaving. But thank goodness for of loving animal family members.

    I know you guys are inundated with the rain... but RAIN, man! That stuff can heal a body and soul too. Just the smell of it can fix me right up!

      No complaints. My yard is a bit of a pond but keep it coming. The lakes are blessedly starting to fill up again. It is a soothing thing, rain ☔️

    I have a jacuzzi, just a small on, fits two people. But, oh. I love it! And I love it!

    I am waiting for that same knot to loosen.

We pass by the house frequently since it sits on a busy thoroughfare. We know to look every time we pass and guess what will we see. Will it be the two Dalmatians, sitting on the couch that backs up to the giant panel window, waiting for their human to come home? Let's Be Perfectly Clear

I would like your input on this letter I am considering sending out. Darryl, I once considered you, if not a friend, a very friendly acquaintance. Our daughters are the same age. I am sure that your daughter is as special to you as mine is to me. McKenna is 21 years old and starting out her life with some tough situations. SHE IS NOT AN OBJECT. Things I Have Learned

 2 1/2 years have passed since I left everything I knew behind me.  Well, not everything. I brought along a Boy Scout, a Scruffy dog and the "stuff" that managed to be important enough to tow behind us.  This journey has been scary, challenging, wondrous, frustrating and, above all, life changing. Or should I say "Linda" changing. Ways I have changed: Fear is no longer the master of my life. It doesn't guide my choices, my relationships or anything else that it once lorded over. I learned for the very first time what unconditional love means. I have received it from a few people in my life but I did not know how to give it. Fear didn't allow it. Boy Scout has given it to me and, now, I am learning to return that gift. Loving him as he is. Joy entered. I look for it. Intentionally I seek it and find it regularly in little things.
