Tic Tock, Tic Tock
I don't want to spend my life sitting on an electronic device, sleeping or in front of a TV.
I want to see the world, meet people, hike mountains and learn. I think I'd like to take a sociology class, become involved in my community and maybe try out pottery. I'd like to make a stained glass window, become fluent in French and embolden my spirit with power and peace by letting go of the past. The minutes remaining are precious and who knows how limited.
What would you like to do that you haven't done yet?

Guard well your spare moments. They are like uncut diamonds. Discard them and their value will never be known. Improve them and they will become the brightest gems in a useful life.

Travel was always on top of my list but not any more. Time with family and friends is most important to me now, hikes/walks and picnics and the beach. Whatever your bliss, I wish it in abundance for you, Linda.
ReplyDeleteThank you Marie. I wish the same for you.
DeleteEat and drink my way through Italy.
ReplyDeleteTravel to visit my friends all over the globe.
Ohhh. Sounds like fun.
DeleteTravel. Travel. Travel. That's at the top of my list. Financially we're not equipped to do that right now but I hope we manage it in the future. For now I'm happy being outdoors enjoying nature and taking road trips to nearby areas.
ReplyDeleteLove road trips too! Hope you get travel soon.
DeleteMore travel -- maybe even a cooking class in Provence or Italy!
ReplyDeleteYou and Margaret both. Hope you get to do that soon.
DeleteTraveling! I'm already getting started as best as I can. I'm still in university and working part time, so it's not easy, but I try to budget a trip each year. It's a lot of fun.
ReplyDeleteIt is indeed!!! Have fun.
DeleteI'm a little older than you and feel that time is running out. I am trying to do as much fun and interesting stuff as I can afford to and have time for. Time has become THE precious commodity in life.
ReplyDeleteSpiritually speaking we are suppose to be thinking that way no matter what our age but it seems age is what brings that thinking on. It is precious for sure.
DeleteI want to become proficient in American Sign Language. I want to learn Tai Chi.
ReplyDeleteBirdie, I’ve been taking tai chi ad have enjoyed it tremendously. Much more after the first 2 or 3 lessons though. Go for it girll
DeleteI'd like to take up Yoga again, I'd like to join a writers group and I'd like to walk on the beach every day. Happy Easter hunny
ReplyDeletei am so happy that finally you decided to do so many things to keep yourself busy as here is a saying that
ReplyDelete"business is the best entertainment"
my best wishes are always with you dear Linda!
